Mission Statement
The mission of Odawa Enterprise Management is to develop a stable economy for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians through non-gaming enterprises that establishes an environment that will lead to economic self-sufficiency.
Introduction
On June 11, 2006, Tribal Council passed Tribal Resolution 061106-15 changing the Economic Development Department into the Odawa Enterprise Management and the Department of Commerce.
Odawa Enterprise Management oversees the non-gaming enterprises of the tribe. The non-gaming enterprises are Biindigen and Bell’s Fishery.
Biindigen gas and convenience store located at 2169 US 31 North is open seven days a week. Monday thru Thursday store hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and Sunday hours are 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Stop by and check it out!
Bell’s Fishery is located on the Straits of Mackinaw in Mackinaw City. Bell’s offers fresh and smoked fish through wholesale or retail. Fish sausage, pâté and other miscellaneous snack foods are available in the retail area. Bell’s retail hours vary with the season, please call ahead at 231-436-7821 for a scrumptious tidbit!
