Community Service Block Grant (CSBG)

Funds are available for very basic needs such as housing, energy assistance, employment uniform requirements and medical and dental transportation. Applicants should be an enrolled member of Little Traverse Bay Bands and live in the State of Michigan within the 27 county service area. A complete application should be submitted for final eligibility determination. The following are guidelines by which determination of eligibility is made.

For each additional person greater than ten add $3,820.00

For those households in which one or more indiduals are receiving: 1.) Department of Human Services (DHS); 2.) Supplement Security Income (SSI); 3.) Food Stamps; 4.) Payments under sections of the United States Code or the Veteran's and Survivor's Pension Act, will receive guidelines detailed above.

Households receiving Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) must have a written denial notice from their worker stating they cannot help them with their bills.
