Low Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP)
This is a program that is offered in cooperation with the Inter-tribal Council of Michigan. Assistance is available for direct assistance and emergency shut off notices or once per year if the applicant qualifies. Applicants must reside in the state of Michigan and be an enrolled member of one of the seven Tribes that participate. A complete application should be submitted for final eligibility determination. The following are guidelines by which determination of eligibility is made.
