Social Services Program
The Social Service Program of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of tribal children, Elders and vulnerable adults and their families by providing competent services using a holistic approach that respects the individual and his or her personal, traditional, cultural, and spiritual values. The Social Services Program builds upon these values to empower, strengthen and support Anishnaabek individuals and families toward self-sufficiency.
The Social Services Program is tasked with overseeing three areas of concern with regard to children, families and elders. These areas of concern are: protective services (children and adult), foster care and prevention.
