Management Information Systems
The Information Systems department will continue the advancement of LTBB by maintaining and supporting the technology requirements of all departments and programs so that they may effectively provide their services to tribal members and the community. To assure that LTBB is appropriately positioned with technology to accomplish its current and future goals. To assure that LTBB is a technology leader amongst our peers.
The MIS department is a new department that was formed in January of 2002. The department currently consists of three staff members the MIS director, and two MIS technicians. This is an indirect department.
The responsibility of the MIS Department is to ensure that the other departments and programs under the governmental operations of LTBB are properly positioned with technology. This includes installation and maintenance of the computer networks and telecommunications systems.
The MIS department completes new installations of computer and telecommunications equipment at governmental sites and coordinates with outside vendors to assure that the technology goals of LTBB are met.
