Survivor Outreach Services

“Violence against women is not a Native Tradition.”

The Survivor Outreach Services Program at the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians Department of Human Services provides a variety of services to all Native American women and girls and non-native intimate partners of a Native American.  Services are available regardless of age and tribal affiliation, for those experiencing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking.

Violence and abuse are any acts of physical violence, emotional and verbal abuse, threats, isolation, intimidation, cultural/ritual abuse, sexual abuse, and/or economic control.

All people have a right to a life free of violence and fear.
