Chairperson Marcia Sutton proceeded with roll call, members present Chairperson Marcia Sutton, Treasurer Alice Hughes, Secretary Carol McFall. Unexcused Commissioner Dorothy Boda, and Vice Chairperson Doris Adams. Staff present Enrollment Officer Pauline Boulton. Secretary McFall arrives at 3:45 pm to review files. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order at 5:05 pm.

  2. Motion made by Secretary McFall to adopt the agenda for 01.19.04. Treasurer Hughes supports. Vote 3 yes. 0 no. 0 abstained. 2 absent. Motion carried.
  3. Motion made by Treasurer Hughes to approve the minutes for 12.17.03 as read. Secretary McFall Supports. Vote 3 yes. 0 no. 0 abstain. 2 absent. Motion carried.
  4. Enrollment Officer’s Report: There are 3873 enrolled members to date.
    Motion made by Treasurer Hughes to approve upgrade blood degee for file # 3173. Secretary McFall supports. Vote 3 yes. 0 no. 0 abstain. 2 absent. Motion carried.
    Motion made by Secretary McFall to purchase micro wave for Enrollment Meeting Room. Treasurer Hughes supports. Vote 3 yes. 0 no. 0 abstain. 2 absent. Motion carried.
    Motion made by Chairperson Sutton to authorize one enrollment training per year for stipend, travel, per diem. Treasurer Hughes supports. Vote 3 yes. 0 no. 0 abstain. 2 absent.
  5. Chairperson’s Report: Meet with other enrollment commissions, preferably Little River Band. Officer Boulton will report back on firming plans.
    Motion made by Chairperson Sutton to pay Carol McFall for stipend and mileage for the quarterly report to Tribal Council on 1.04.04. Treasurer Hughes supports. Vote 2 yes. 0 no. 1 abstain. 2 absent. Motion carried.
  6. Treasurer’s Report: Will send copies to all commissioners.
  7. Public Comment opens at 7:00 p.m.
