11/13/17 - Tribal Council is looking to fill 2-positions on the Gaming Enterprise Board for 3-year Terms beginning November 2017 and January 2018. The purpose of the Board is to monitor, and provide oversight, and direction regarding the management of the Odawa Casino Resort. The Board is charged with maximizing both the Revenues and associated EBITDA while also maximizing employment opportunities for Tribal Citizens. The Board shall consist of persons with business and gaming experience, including both Tribal Citizens and others.

09/11/17 - Tribal Council is looking to fill a 4-year term ending September 21, 2021 on the Traditional Tribal Burial Board Inc. The purpose of this corporation is to manage the Traditional Tribal Burial Grounds as provided by Waganakising Odawak Statute 2009-018 Traditional Tribal Burial Grounds, through approved regulations, as a self-sustaining non-profit entity.

Tribal Council is looking to fill a 4-year term ending February 2, 2021 on the Ziibimijwang, Inc. The purpose of the Corporation is to manage the Ziibimijwang, Inc., as provided by Waganakising Odawak Statute 2014-005 as a self-sustaining non-profit entity and to provide for the health and welfare of the Tribal Community through the use of sustainable farming with emphasis toward organic foods, providing for exercising treaty rights of hunting, fishing and gathering, agricultural activities, caring for livestock, and other activities that promote nutrition, fitness and wellbeing. Legislative Branch consists of the Tribal Council, and Committees of the Tribal Council, the Legal Department (General Counsel, Legislative Services Attorney, Office of Citizens Assistance and the Executive Legal Department Assistant), the Department of the Treasury (Treasury Director and Sr., Financial Analyst) and the Legislative Office Staff assists Tribal Council and those Departments and Entities contained therein with the duties based on constitutional mandates, statutes, resolutions, regulations, and policies as well as any other duties as assigned necessary to exercise Tribal jurisdiction, civil and criminal authority and the regulation of commerce.
