TRIBAL COUNCIL
LEGISLATIVE OFFICE
As the most respected leaders, the Tribal Council will represent membership by acknowledging the cultural values of Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility and Truth. We will exhibit the highest level of integrity and fairness while representing the needs of the entire Tribe. We will provide objective leadership wile being held accountable to make fair and informed decisions. We will strengthen government to government relations by enacting legislation further protecting Tribal Sovereignty.
Legislative Office consists of the Legislative Leader, the Legislative Services Attorney, the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. The Legislative Office assists Tribal Council with the duties of the Tribal Council based on constitutional mandates including statutes and resolutions necessary to exercise Tribal jurisdiction, including civil and criminal authority and the regulation of commerce. The Legislative office shall perform such other duties as required by the Tribal Council.
