Appellate Court Filing Process for Appeals
For Appellant:
Read the Chapter 7 “Appellate Procedure” and complete the Petition to Appeal form and then file it with the Tribal Court Clerk along with a filing fee of $25.00 within or on the 28th day by 5:00 pm after final judgment, decision or order (7.402.A)
.IMPORTANT: If not filed within or on the 28th day time frame, you must have an affidavit. See Appellate Procedures 7.401.E, “Grounds for Granting Late Appeal”.
After you have filed your Petition to Appeal, an Appellate Scheduling Conference will be scheduled and notice will be sent to you and the respondent.
